Real Colors palette generator proves to be a handy app for designers and everyday users. Real Colors creates a color palette from a single photo.
The app gives you the option to take a picture with the camera or open a photo from the gallery. Once a photo is designated the app loads the palette. During load a prompt indicates generating a color palette takes five to thirty seconds and the app delivers on that speed.
Once an image is selected the main palette screen shows up with a spectrum graph of all colors found in the photo and the “real” color palette consisting of your five main colors. The three options for your palette are editing the colors individually, creating basic wallpaper from your palette, and changing the palette for the same photo based on different color theory.
If you need monochromatic, complementary colors, or even shades, there is an option in the drop down menu (in the Pro version) that indicates and lets you change the palette type.
While the app is useful on your phone for mobile applications, such as color coordinating room decorations or outfit accessories, there are numerous sharing and exporting features to help when you need to view the palette on a computer or send it to a coworker or designer. The colors are even shown in HEX, RGB, and HSB to fit all your color needs.
Snapping a shot of that curtain you love can help you complete the perfect room from paint to pillows, or maybe that photo of the sunset helps design a travel agency’s website. Loading your smartphone background image can help you customize just the right color scheme for your phone. With so many uses, Real Colors is a great addition to your smartphone, customization, and designing needs.
