PlayStation Mobile Phone List Released

Which devices will work as a Playstation mobile phone? Sony has finally released a list of PlayStation certified devices, with several Xperia phones joining the HTC  One S, One V, and One X. No date is specified for when PlayStation Mobile will join the HTC devices; Sony’s site only lists that they are, “coming soon.”

PlayStation Mobile is Sony’s effort to build a mobile gaming service across multiple devices. The service launched yesterday in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Australia. More countries are supposed to come on board at a later date.

Launch titles include Super Crate Box, Everybody’s Arcade, Wipe!, Hungry Giraffe, and Beats Trellis. Once a game is purchased, it can be played on any of the compatible phones or a PlayStation Vita.

While the Sony Xperia devices are not a surprise to get access to the PlayStation Mobile Store, the HTC One series is a nice inclusion, given the screen and graphics quality.

However, no specific date has been released for when they will get to join in on the gaming action. Sony lists that “select Android devices” will be getting access to the PlayStation Mobile store, so it is possible that more phones could be announced.

Along with Xperia phones, the Sony Tablet P, Tablet S, and Xperia Tablet S are compatible.

There have been various reports from users who have a supported device but are seeing access to the PlayStation Mobile Store at different times. Check your own phone or tablet to see if your access is available.
