ORC: Vengeance is an impressive game that will remind players of Diablo. Prepare to take on swarms of evil creatures aiming at you.
You play as Rok, a gladiator war chief with plenty of weaponry and grit to use against your enemies. It plays like a true action RPG, as you must maneuver through castles and dungeons, fighting off the enemies and collecting free weapons.
ORC: Vengeance has excellent graphics that extend to the cut scenes as well as the overall gameplay.
As a mistreated ORC, you must battle your way out of dark dungeons in order to defeat The Dark One and his hordes of minions. The storyline has some generic moments, but it doesn’t detract from an excellent environment. You must increase your weaponry through acquiring money and taking discarded weapons.
You control the orc by tapping where you want to send him. Touch the enemies to battle. More advanced moves come by earning gestures, then assigning them in your control screen.
The only downside is that much of the game is rather easy. If you are an experienced, first-rate gamer then you will probably not have much difficulty taking out the competition.
However, some of the bosses will make you step up your game, so it isn’t all mindless screen tapping.
Choosing weapons and assigning them by gestures is part of the game’s strategy. You will need to assign the gestures carefully, reserving one for reloading your health.
ORC: Vengeance is definitely worth downloading. It is one of those higher tier games that highlights what quality gaming can look like on a mobile device.
No word on if this will land on Android. We will update if this changes.
