TellTale Games announced a number of new releases for iOS, Mac and PC this week.
Jurassic Park: The Game Episode 3: “The Depths”
Gamers can now take dinosaurs on the go everywhere. Telltale’s cinematic journey continues the adventure in Episode 3: “The Depths” on iPad2. The group looks for a getaway through the dark maintenance tunnels that connect to the park, while being sought by persistent pursuers and carnivorous dinosaurs. Uneasy partnerships shift as the simmering tensions explode and the survivors begin to turn on each other.
Expects lots of (unfriendly) dinosaurs.
Jurassic Park: The Game takes players back to the cinematic Isla Nublar during the scope of the first film. Players will experience Jurassic Park in an interactive form. The game offers new areas to explore, prehistoric beasts to survive against in a fast-paced action, exploration and puzzle-solving game. It is now available on iPad2 for $6.99.
Load Law & Order: Legacies on Mac and PC
Crime labs are appearing on Macs and PCs everywhere. The episodic, interactive crime-drama Law & Order: Legacies is now available for both desktop platforms. Based on TV’s long-running crime drama, Law & Order: Legacies permits players to work on cases as both investigators and district attorneys together with the full roster of fan-favorite characters from the Law & Order brand.
The Mac and PC version follows the release of the iOS app and is available for download at the Telltale Games website for $19.99, which includes the first three episodes of Law & Order: Legacies, with the subsequent four episodes set to be releasing soon.
Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space for iOS
The gaming world’s favorite dog and hyper-kinetic lagomorphs Sam & Max, are back again in the first episode of the classic saga Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space, dubbed “Ice Station Santa.”
As an extra enticement to gamers, Telltale has included a fiery mini-game and witty soundboard that can only be found in the iOS version. An entertaining and wild Sam & Max ‘Whack da Ratz’ mini-game lets players compete for the top spot in the Freelance Police Hall of Fame. Sam & Max fans can also spend their free time creating new and deranged quotes uttered by their favorite characters with the all new soundboard.
Episode 1 for iPad and iPhone is now available for $6.99 as a universal app. Episodes two through five are slated for release soon.
