Social app extraordinaire Banjo recently rolled out its 2.0 update, adding additional social features to make it easier to connect with friends, acquaintances, or meet others while out and about.
Banjo has done well, growing to over 600,000 users in 180 countries. Banjo takes your location-aware services like Foursquare, Twitter, and mashes them together into a real-time map.
Users can now sign in with Instagram, Gmail, or Foursquare along with the standard Facebook or Twitter. Among the improvements in the latest update:
- Improved friend alerts – including Notification Center integration
- Save images to iCloud
- Improved search to connect with others’ interests
- A cleaner re-design
- Newer facial recognition technology
